These are wired temperature sensors protected by an epoxy resin and a heat-shrinkable tube. 

These sensors are distinguished by their high electrical resistance. Their dielectric strength is generally 2.5kV, allowing installation in most motors on the market. They are also compatible with all engine classes up to class H (180°C).

It is preferable to implant the leads before winding. Moreover, we advise you to leave a space in the middle of the winding head in order to deposit the temperature sensor. 

Each winding must be equipped with a probe, to be placed at the level of the hottest point (generally opposite the fan). As such, good thermal contact between the two is required. To do this, do not hesitate to squeeze the winding wires. 

Connect the connecting wires to the free terminals. 

There must be parallelism between the conductors of the probe and the wires of the winding

In the event of overheating, the motor will be disconnected from the mains. It will be connected to it again when it cools down. 

Good to know: For test procedures, the measurement voltage must not exceed 2,5V direct current. Beyond that, there is a risk of overheating the sensor.
