Indoor combined temperature, relative humidity, CO sensor 2 , atmospheric pressure and VOC - STHCPV 104  is designed to measure the concentration of carbon dioxide, air temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure and the concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in water protected areas.

Product features STHCPV Combined Probe - CAN

Room sensor

By selecting specific sensors, it is possible to choose a variant of the sensor with different combinations of measured quantities (combination of two to five measured quantities).

Combined temperature, relative humidity, CO sensor 2 , atmospheric pressure and VOC - STHCPV 104  consists of a plastic head with grooves, in which a printed circuit board with individual sensors and a converter are located to ensure communication via the CAN bus. The temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure and VOCs are measured by a common internal sensor whose signal is processed in a microprocessor and converted into a CANopen output signal with CiA DS 301 specification. The CO value 2 is measured by an NDIR module whose digital signal is also converted. CANopen with CiA DS 301 specification. An auto-calibration function is available for CO concentration sensor 2 to ensure that the sensor is set to the minimum CO value 2 .corresponding to the level of external concentration. The sensors temperature, relative humidity, CO 2 , atmospheric pressure and VOC - STHCPV 104 are  conform to protection class IP 30 according to the modified standard EN 60529. Pleasant design and quality materials ensure that  sensors temperature, relative humidity, CO 2 , atmospheric pressure and VOC - STHCPV 104  do not disturb even in interiors subject to high aesthetic requirements. The sensors de  temperature, relative humidity, CO 2 , recommended atmospheric pressure and VOC are located  at a height of 1,5 m from the interior wall, in the area of movement of people, away from sunny places and affected by the temperature of the walls, heat sources or lighting.

The sensors temperature, relative humidity, CO 2 , atmospheric pressure and VOC - STHCPV 104  are designed to operate in a chemically non-aggressive environment. Operating conditions to ensure the proper functioning of the CO sensor 2 are the following:

  • ambient temperature: 0 to 45 ° C
  • relative humidity: 0 to 85% (non-condensing)
  • atmospheric pressure: 87 to 106 kPa

SENSOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
The sensors are designed to be mounted on a wall or other vertical surface. For fixing, it is necessary to prepare the required holes for mounting screws using a template (supplied with the sensor).
Before connecting the power cable, it is necessary to separate the perforated cover from the plastic base. Remove the cover and insert the cable through the 9 mm hole, apply the base to the surface and screw with two screws or bolts. The length of the bolts or fixing screws for fixing should be chosen according to the thickness of the plastic base. Connect the power cable to the terminals in accordance with the “Wiring” section. Diagram: place the perforated cover on the fixed base and lock it by clicking on it. After installation and connection to the electrical measuring device, the sensor is ready for use. The sensor does not require any particular maintenance.
