The temperature sensors operate on the principle of defined dependence on the change of sensor property and on the temperature change. They are not capable of generating sparks, arcs or high surface temperatures. The temperature range for use in potentially explosive environments is limited by the insulation of the cable used and specifically specified in the user manual - the specified measuring range must not be exceeded, even for a short period. The power cable can be fitted with an outer insulation made of PVC, silicone or PTFE (teflon) and can be shielded or unshielded. In accordance with standard EN 60 529, the sensors respond to IP 65 for the insulation of PTFE (Teflon) cables and to IP 67 for other power cables.

The temperature sensors are designed to operate in a chemically non-aggressive environment, the use must be chosen according to the temperature and the chemical resistance of the case and the power cable.

  • TR 011 series temperature sensor- The sensors can be used to measure the temperature of gaseous and liquid substances in pipes or air conditioning pipes or separately to measure the temperature of solids. They consist of a 6 mm, 7 to 10 mm or 12 mm diameter metal measuring box, containing a temperature sensor and a power cable. The metal sensor housing can be made of stainless steel DIN 1.4301, DIN 1.4404, DIN 1.4571. The fixed part of the housing is a mounting fitting with different thread sizes and an OK hexagon, allowing direct installation in the measurement location without the use of a thermowell. Sensor wiring can be 2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire. In the case of shielded power cables, the shield is not connected to the housing or the temperature sensing element. The length of the housing can be chosen in the range from 40 to 400 mm,

Calibration - All temperature sensors undergo the final metrological control, which is carried out by comparison with standards or working gauges. Continuity of standards and working standards is ensured within the meaning of article 5 of Law No. 505/1990 on metrology, as amended.
