TEMPERATURE SENSOR WITH 0 to 10 V OUTPUT KNS 720
Reference GKNS720R
Product features TEMPERATURE SENSOR WITH 0 to 10 V OUTPUT KNS 720
The KNS 720 temperature sensor is designed to measure the temperature of liquid or gaseous substances. In the application segment of rail vehicles, it is used, for example, to measure the temperature of the outside air under the vehicle floor. For this, the sensor is equipped with a rod with high mechanical resistance.
The sensor consists of a plastic head, in which a converter from the resistance signal of the temperature sensor to the current signal of 0-10 V and a metal measuring box are placed. All metal parts are made of class 17240 stainless steel (corresponds to DIN 1.4301). The power cable is connected to the terminal block via a grommet, which is part of the plastic head. The base material of the head is LEXAN. The sensor can be used for all control systems compatible with the output signal from 0 to 10 V. Standard temperature ranges are shown in the technical parameters table, while the maximum temperature around the sensor head is 80 ° C and must not be exceeded even for a short time. The sensor complies with protection class IP 65 according to EN 60529.
The sensor is designed to operate in a chemically non-aggressive environment.
