DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION

These resistance sensors are designed to measure the contact temperature of liquid or gaseous substances. The plastic connection head is provided with a cable outlet (the terminal block is placed in the connection head) or a connector. The structure of the sensor rod allows the sensor to be used for direct temperature measurement in ducts and also guarantees a fast sensor response to temperature changes.

The standard operating temperature range is between -30 and 130°C. The sensors can be used for any control system compatible with the sensing element output signals or the output signals listed in the sensing element type table. The temperature sensor is easy to mount thanks to the unique “S-head” design.

SENSOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE:

Before connecting the power cable, indicate the position of the probe at the location of the temperature measurement.

CABLE CONNECTION:

Before connecting the power cable, use a flat screwdriver. The input cable is connected to the terminals as shown in the diagram through the loose eyelet. The recommended wire section is 0,35 to 1,5 mm2. The diameter of the circular section cable can range from 4 to 8 mm. For IP 65 protection, the grommet must be tightened and the cover must be put on after connecting the input cable.

SENSORS WITH CONNECTOR:

According to the wiring diagram, the input cable is connected to the RSFM4 connector, which is part of the sensor head.

Optional, the autonomous CONEC 43-00092 connector or a 5 m long input cable equipped with a straight RKT type connector, a rectangular RKWT type connector can be delivered. In case the entry of electromagnetic field (eg equipment with inductive load), shielded cable should be used.

After installing and connecting the sensor to the equipment, the probe is ready for use. The sensor does not require no special maintenance. The device can be used in any working position, but the eyelet must not be pointing upwards.

MODIFICATION AND CUSTOMIZATION:
