The epoxy coated NTC thermistor sensor is in the form of a bead in water drop shape with two radial conductor wires, which combines a fast thermal response with low cost.

It consists of a small NTC chip welded between a PVC or Teflon stranded cable.

The terminations are soldered and the head is coated and insulated with black epoxy resin.

The tiny body can be inserted into a tube, free in the air, taped or glued.

Very often these types of NTC thermistors are used with applications near humidity.
