How does a room sensor work?
These sensors are used to measure the temperature of indoor or outdoor environment. They can be used for displaying the measured value or for connection to a building management system. The temperature ranges for use of outdoor thermometers are between -30 and 70 ° C, -30 and 100 ° C and -50 ° C and 100 ° C. These sensors require an IP65 degree of protection when installed outdoors to withstand the elements. The recommended location for outdoor thermometers is to place it on the colder side of the building (north or northwest) to avoid direct exposure to the sun. As a rule, it is installed at 2/3 of the height of the building wall.
